Kathy met handsome Italian Sandro when she was 22. He succeeded in passionately encouraging the naturally shy Kathy to sleep with him. That one sultry night, when they each abandoned their inhibitions, ended up in Kathy becoming pregnant. When she told Sandro about it, all she got was his cold, irresponsible reply. Fast-forward six years an unexpected encounter with Sandro at a party unsettles Kathy, especially when he invites her to sleep with him again as if nothing had ever happened! Once his warm hands touch hers, though, she repeats the same mistake as if put under a spell…

Alessandro and Cassie had met six years before he showed up at her job as the new owner of that corporation and the minute he saw her across the room sparks started flying. Cassie and Alessandro had fallen in love and into bed within two weeks of meeting and when Sandro as she called him went to meet him family to tell them about her and didn't return she was devastated. She was also pregnant with twins and when she called him on his cell and he said he didn't know her, didn't want to know her and not to bother him again, well I don't know if I could just forgive that if he just walked back into my life. What Cassie didn't know was that he had been in a terrible accident and almost died but he really never forgot her and it's so clear from the moment he saw her at the party. From then on he didn't stop chasing her and just showing her how much he still loved and wanted her and the kids. He was controlling and arrogant and was just not going to give up on her no matter what. When I read the previous review I had already bought this book and it was just sitting in my kindle because I didn't want to read it - the reviewer made the hero sound terrible, but he was not. I think he was wonderful and Cassie raised those two kids by herself and had every right to be afraid to trust him again. I loved this book and I'm going to read it again and I recommend it highly.

Marchese Forgotten Bride Harlequin comics eBook Michelle Reid Makoto Onishi Reviews

She found her true love all over again and found a away to forgive him and his actions for the truest of loves
I like the suspense in this story and how the mystery of the six years played out. Strong defiant h and a loving H trying to solve a puzzle if amnesia.
I liked the book, but didn't love it. The storyline is good, a tried and true one used by Harlequin writers. The main characters had great chemistry and good dialogue for the most part, but the story dragged in parts which I thought made them boring.
I enjoyed reading this book...didn't want to put it down. I love the characters Alessandro and Cassie and their love story. They were separated due to circumstances beyond their control, but found each other again.
Entertaining enough.... my biggest problem is how much the author wrote the heroine a stammering dialogue "Sh-she" ...there so much of it that I want to punch something....
I have read a lot of books by this author over the years, which were pretty good, this one was absolutely terrible, the only reason I read the whole book was because I paid for it. The heroine played all her cards in two minutes, she was a selfish dimwit, the hero was such a whiney childish brute. You know that picture you paint in your mind of what the Hero and heroine looks like, well he went from a greek Fabio, to peewee. Sad to say, It was a depressing read.
this was the first book that i read by this author , and i am glad that i did. since i have bought all MR kindle books . this book is so good i have read it multiple times. there was only one question that was not answered why the H brother didn't want him to marry the h?
highly recommended .
